| Event Description |
Elijahfest consists of a 5K race for adults (14 and over, divided into age brackets), a kids� fun run (13 and under), and a Field Day consisting of hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, whiffleball, kids activities, face painting, and a Chinese auction/raffle. All proceeds benefit the Elijah Straw Memorial Fund, which subsidizes the Elijah Straw Helping Hand Award, given to students 4 times per year at O�Hara Elementary School. The Fund has also contributed and will continue to donate to parks, libraries, museums, little league baseball players who need registration fees, and other causes and events that were near and dear to Elijah. |
