Course Description
The course is an out and back course mostly along the Montour Trail, which is part of the Rails-to-Trails program. The trail's smooth, crushed limestone surface is flat and fast; look for a personal record.
The race starts at the Mall at Robinson parking lot and travels downhill for approximately three quarters of a mile. The course then turns left onto the trail. The scenic Montour Run, a small creek, runs along much of the course and showcases the trail's natural beauty. The half marathon course also goes through historic Enlow Tunnel, a 576 foot long lighted tunnel located near mile marker 7 on the trail. The race finish is near where the course turned onto the trail.
Buses are provided to return participants to the Mall parking area. |
