The Runner's High has established a "standard" for cross country event timing throughout the region. We provide services for many of the regional invitationals, 5 of the 11 PIAA District Championships, State High School Championships in PA and OH, and Regional Championships for NCAA Division I, II and III.

For most of our events, we provide the on-line registration service, on-site timing, and posting of the results on our website. Many of our events have mats on the course for splits. This information is valuable for coaches and interesting to review for all. No numbers are needed and no pre-race packets to put together. We show up with the chips, ready for distriburtion to the coaches. This allows the meet director to tend to other details.

Meet directors are very inconsistent with their fees to the schools. Some charge the the number of teams that will be running. Others charge a flat rate, and others charge by the number of runners. Our fees are based on a per runner basis because of chip rental fees and chip preparation efforts. (It takes approximately one hour for each 100 chips prepared)

If a race sets a fee schedule based on the number of runners a coach will be bringing, this keeps him from registering his entire squad when he knows he may only bring part of his entire time. Plus, this protects the meet director from loosing money on really large schools. With a fee schedule like this and the amount of services that we can provide, you may find that our fees really aren't that expensive.

Plus, there is nothing worse than having a chute back-up at the finish line, incorrect results and post race delays in getting the results finalized.
